Scholarships available for vets to study counseling

Service members and veterans studying for a career in professional counseling have until Nov. 1 to apply for a scholarship from the National Board of Certified Counselors Foundation.

Five scholarships of $3,000 will be awarded to students who are enrolled in counseling programs accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs; are currently serving in the military or have served in the military in the past five years; and who commit to serving military personnel upon graduation.
