Free career transition boot camps for vets p1 - Military Transition - Military Times EDGE

Gradient Financial Group and the consulting firm Afterburner are offering career and financial guidance to up to 50 service members and recent veterans in three transition “boot camps” around the country.

New or soon-to-be veterans selected for the three-day camps will receive military-to-business coaching as well as career transition and placement training. Top candidates will vie for jobs with some of Afterburner’s client corporations and receive a package of financial services from Gradient.

One veteran will be selected in late 2010 for Gradient’s Ultimate Financial Gift, which includes tax filing, financial planning and six months of mortgage or lease payments.
