Friday Sep 4, 2009 13:58:06 EDT

The Maid Brigade franchise company is accepting applications from honorably discharged veterans through Sept. 30 for its Maid Brigade Veteran Franchise Giveaway.

One veteran will win a Maid Brigade franchise worth $45,000. In addition, Maid Brigade — a home-based business — will waive its $14,500 franchise fee for up to 100 qualifying vets.

The top prize includes the franchise fee, a $3,000 equipment package, $27,500 in working capital and Maid Brigade’s one-week training program in Atlanta, airfare and hotel included.

Candidates must complete an online application, including an essay on how their military responsibilities would translate to Maid Brigade franchise ownership, according to a news release.

Qualified candidates will be contacted by Maid Brigade staff and given detailed information on the company.
